Hoping to make it up to ...Great eye as usual, Kate! Hoping to make it up to Alaska this summer, but for now your photos will keep me in my happy place. Good call on hiking the Mt. Marathon Bowl – I hiked straight up the mountain via the race course a few years ago, and it's so steep it was dizzying. I'd stop to rest and feel like I'd just deboarded after weeks at sea, with heavy legs and the world spinning around me. But what an amazing panorama of Seward (and beyond) at the top, as you've captured – well worth the effort.<br /><br />Thanks for sharing another exhilarating trip – all the best in 2017, I look forward to following along.
